24 players, 51 games, 1 winner. The final of the Linney Design World Cup took place in the hallowed turf of the kitchen with a packed audience. Luke Tonge and Phil Thurlby came through the tournament to face each other in the final. Who won? How many goals were scored? Did anyone get injured? New England home shirt designed by Peter Saville. It’s certainly minimal, the multicoloured crosses being “evocative of the basting stitches synonymous with bespoke tailoring” according to Saville. Either that or it makes you look like you have interesting dandruff… Thoughts anyone?
