Spike Jonze has an amazing new short film available to watch online called ‘I’m Here’. It is set in a world where robots and humans co-exist, though the former is only used for menial jobs and nothing much else. However, this is slowly changing and Jonze has set his film at a time where some robots are beginning to find a purpose; a reason for existence. They’re also beginning to fall in love with each other. The official site has a really nice interface that represents the experience of going to a movie theatre – check it out here.

What a beautiful film.
The whole process of visiting the kiosk and having to wait for the actual showtime to see the film made it even more intriguing. The almost hour long wait was worth it. The content seems strange but combined with the soundtrack and beautiful cinematography it’s something I’ll be watching more than once.
